Deann Marie (Bauer) Reeves, 65, died on January 4, 2023 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born April 13, 1958; the daughter of Harvey Raymond Jonnie and Evelyn Marie (Dougherty) Bauer.
Deann was born and raised in Southwest Kansas and worked at several different places throughout the years. Those places include National Byproducts, IBP, Cleary Buildings, AmeriCold, St. Catherine Hospital, and most recently Store Manager at Austin Pools. Deann took pride in her job and gave it her all whatever she was doing. Deann also enjoyed going to garage sales; she was a collector of Mickey Mouse, Angels, and other odds and ends.
Survivors include her Husband Don of the home; two daughters- Michelle and Mike Hooper of Cherryvale, Kansas and Bambi and Tim Lane of Cimarron, Kansas; 8 grandchildren; a brother- Ronnie Bauer of Meade, Kansas; and her beloved yorkie dogs.
She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother- Dean Bauer.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday January 17, 2023 at Prairie View Church of the Brethren in Friend, Kansas with Rev. Jon Tuttle officiating. Interment will follow immediately in Prairie View Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Deann Bauer Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home of Garden City.
