Carl “Eddie” Welch, 82, passed away peacefully December 2, 2023, at Kansas City Hospice House. &nbsp;Carl was born on August 4, 1941, in Spickard, Mo.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sharon Harlow Welch; his two children, Sandra K Welch Donnelly (Dennis) Leawood, KS and Phillip W Welch of Kansas City, Mo; four grandchildren, Allyssa Grizzle, Kearney, Mo, Kevin Grizzle, Waverly, Mo, Alex Grizzle, Kearney, Mo and Dalton Welch, Kansas City, Mo. ; three step grandchildren, Erin Donnelly Suleiman (Samir), Belmont, NC, Sean Donnelly (Kelly), Overland Park, KS and Cara Donnelly, Leawood, KS; three great grandchildren, Nora Shanks, Jonathan Massey and Laevin Grizzle; one step great granddaughter, Isla Donnelly.

He leaves behind five siblings, Bill Welch, Helen Ward, Judy Drier (Bob), Suzie Whitwell, and Jim Welch. &nbsp;He is preceded in death by his parents Carl &amp; Dorothy Welch; two brothers, Don Welch, and Charles “Chuck” Welch; three brother in laws, Charles Ward, Richard Crawford, and Jesse Whitwell; two sister in laws, Delores Welch and Peggy Welch; along with several nieces and nephews.

Carl loved camping, playing the slots, taking cruises, and spending time with his family. &nbsp;
