Joaquín García Chávez married Carlota Franco Torres on June 25, 1961 in Mexico. &nbsp;He worked for many years in road construction. &nbsp;He loved his horses and enjoyed being with his family. He was a very cheerful husband, brother, uncle, father, grandfather, father-in-law, and friend.

Other members of the family include his children, Ramon Garcia (Morima), Jesus Manuel Garcia (Fela), Maria Garcia (Antonio), Natividad Garcia (Amanda), Raul Garcia (Karina), Joaquin Garcia, Jr. (Brenda), numerous grandchildren and two&nbsp;brothers and three sisters.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, a brother and a sister.
