Rachel Thille Beavers

Rachel Thille Beavers, 54, of Colby, KS, passed away on November 3, 2022, after a lifetime of mental illness.

Rachel was born on September 6, 1968, to Mathew Gail and Elizabeth Thille, in Osborne, KS. After graduating from Waconda East High School in 1987, she earned her bachelor’s degree at Avila College of Overland Park, KS.

Rachel and her ex-husband, John Beavers, had one daughter Ruby Beavers.

Rachel enjoyed spending time outside exploring with her lab dog, painting, and sharing stories from the past.

Rachel was preceded in death by her father, Mathew Gail Thille, brother, Rusty Thille, and ex-husband John Beavers. She is survived by her mother Elizabeth Thille; her sister Ruthann Zentner; brothers, Randy and Robyn Thille; her daughter, Ruby Beavers Johnson, and her grandson, Rylan Johnson.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made to offset burial costs, allowing her daughter Ruby to lay her mom to rest. The class of 1987 is planning a celebration of life and more information will be provided at a later date.
