Carol Ann Garcia, 76, passed away October 27, 2023, at Azria Health Woodhaven, Great Bend, Kan. She was born March 8, 1947, in Kinsley to Jose Contreras, Sr. and Jance (Almanza) Contreras.
Survivors include two sons, Richard Garcia and Alex Contreras; a daughter, Hannah Contreras; a son-in-law, Jeremy Robinson; a daughter-in-law, Lindsay Hames; four brothers, Fred Contreras, Steve Contreras, David Contreras and Joe Contreras, Jr.; two sisters, Delores Munoz and Anita Cleveland; four grandchildren, Braelynn Contreras, Haven Hames, Rylan Robinson and Trevor Cline; five nieces and nephews, April Zendajas, Candy Contreras, Steven Contreras, Shawna Contreras and Dalton Contreras; three great-nieces and nephews, Reyna Zendajas, Alexandria Zendajas and Vicente Zendajas; and a great-great-nephew, Horacio Zendajas.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 3, 2023, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Father Prakash Kola. Inurnment will be in the Kinsley Cemetery.
Memorials have been designated to the Carol Garcia Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
