TRIBUNE - Leroy Harold Mai, age 87, passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Greeley County Hospital in Tribune, Kansas. He was born to Emanuel and Madeline Bohl Mai in Greeley County on February 18, 1936. He was a lifelong member of the community.

On October 25, 1976, he married Norma Jean Parker in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She survives.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Sheryl and Michael MacNair of Jetmore, Kansas, one son, Randall Mai of Manhattan, Kansas, his grandchildren Shane and Rashel MacNair of Ness City, Kansas, Courtney and Cody Oswald of Herington, Kansas, Katherine Mai of Manhattan, Kansas, Andrew and Paige MacNair of Goddard, Kansas, Erin and Shaun Delmar of Wichita, Kansas, his great-grandchildren Olivia Oswald of Herington, Kansas,  Kylee Delmar and Eric Delmar of Wichita, Kansas, Olivia MacNair and Amelia MacNair of Goddard, Kansas, two sisters-in-law, Linda Gibson of Springfield, Colorado, Joyce and Steve Bozylinski of Thousand Oaks, California, his nieces and nephews Clay and Donna Smith of Nebraska City, Nebraska, Clint and Sena Smith of Spanish Fork, Utah, Lance & Susanne Smith of Vancouver, Washington, Jennifer and Jason Smart of Meridian, Idaho, Cari Smith of Meridian, Idaho, Leslie and Brian Fitzgerald of Pueblo, Colorado, and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Juanita Smith, brother-in-law Eldon Smith, and niece Shelly Smith. 

Memorial services will be held on August 26, 2023, (Time and location to be determined), Tribune, Kansas with Joe Reynolds presiding. Interment will follow at the Greeley County Cemetery. 

There will be no visitation.
