Cleora May McPhillamy passed away at the Valley Vista Good Samaritan Center, in Wamego, Kansas, on September 13, 2023, at the age of 72.

Cleora was born on November 10, 1945 to her parents Carlos and Queenie (Iman) Pickel.

She was married to Albert Bruce McPhillamy on May 8, 1963.

Cleora is preceded in death by her husband Albert Bruce McPhillamy, father Carlos Pickel, father by choice Norman Leidig, and mother Queenie Leidig.

Survivors include her children Christina Calmes and husband LeRoy of Saint George, Kansas, Shawn McPhillamy of San Benito, Texas, Angelica Petersen of Colona, Illinois, William McPhillamy and wife Theresa of Beaver City, Nebraska, Bambi McPhillamy and significant other Chad Darrah of Manhattan, Kansas, and Phillip McPhillamy and wife Amy of Grand Island, Nebraska, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A graveside service, officiated by Pastor Troy Buss, will be held at the Marvin Cemetery at 11:30 a.m., in Glade, Kansas.

Memorials may be made to the Cleora McPhillamy Memorial Fund and sent to Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, P.O. Box 563, Phillipsburg, Kansas, 67661.
