Fabio Chavez, 38, passed away December 29, 2023, in Great Bend, Kansas. He was born on October 24, 1985, in Great Bend, Kansas to Jose Luis and Marina Chavez.&nbsp;

A lifetime Great Bend resident, Fabio worked chain hand in the oilfield as well as working in the roofing industry. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. Fabio enjoyed break dancing, graffiti art, low riders, and skateboarding.&nbsp;

Survivors include his four children, Fabio, Jr., Mea, Nova, and Alexia Chavez; his mother, Marina Chavez; three sisters, Anais Chavez, Gisela Chavez, and Lucero Chavez and husband, Carlos; uncle, Bernadino Moreno; and numerous other loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Luis Chavez.

Visitation will take place from noon to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 3, 2024, with vigil at 7:00 p.m., at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 4, 2024, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Father Prakash Kola presiding. Interment will follow at Great Bend Cemetery North. &nbsp;Memorials are suggested to the Fabio Chavez Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home. &nbsp;
