Nate Lenny Ekhoff, Scott City

February 14, 1945 - September 25, 2023

Nate Lenny Ekhoff, age 78, passed away on Monday, September 25, 2023, at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas.  He was born in Syracuse, Kansas on February 14, 1945, the son of Walter and Berniece Becker Ekhoff. 

A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2019 moving from Loveland, Colorado, he was a master carpenter.

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

On 7/11/2002 he married Nora Taber in Loveland, Colorado.  She passed away on 11/10/2009.

Survivors include his two sons, Dewayne and Danielle Ekhoff of Moore, Oklahoma, Adam Ekhoff of Garden City, Kansas, brother Neil and Gwen Ekhoff of Loveland, Colorado, sister Dawn and Daniel Davis of North Chesterfield, Virginia, seven grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Nels Ekhoff, Niles Ekhoff, and sister Ione Hughan.

Memorial service will be held on 4:30 p.m. Saturday, September 30, 2023, at the Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas with Pastor Jeri Farmer-Smith presiding.

Inurnment will be in the Greeley County Cemetery.
