Connie L. Dreiling, age 88, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, at Via Christi Village Care Center, Hays, Kansas.
She was born July 31, 1935, at Hays, Kansas to Leo F. and Mary (Kuhn) Brungardt. She married Allen P. Dreiling on June 1, 1957, at Victoria. He preceded her in death on March 28, 2018.
She worked at Farmers National Bank, was secretary at Victoria High School, was a CNA at St John’s Rest Home in Victoria. She also worked with her husband Allen
at Allen Dreiling Accounting until they sold the business in 2016.
Connie was a member of The Basilica of Saint Fidelis and St. Fidelis Christian Mothers both of Victoria. She enjoyed her flower garden, reading, watching football, basketball, golf, and most of all spending time with her family.
Connie is survived by her children, Wanda Karlin and husband, Tony, Victoria, KS; Cletus Dreiling and wife, Rose Ann, Victoria, KS; Sandra Dreiling, Victoria, KS; her grandchildren, Shaun Karlin (Ali); Brett Karlin (Hannah); Tyler Dreiling (Tricia); Aubrey Jones; Chelsey Dreiling; her great grandchildren, Mason and Avery Karlin; Grayson and Noah Utash; Brooklyn and Beckham Karlin; Hayden and Tanner Dreiling; Cooper and Georgia Jones; her brother, Gene Brungardt, Victoria, KS; her sister, Jane Dinges; her sisters-in-law, Eileen Brungardt, Hays, KS; Geraldine Kindel and husband, Don, Victoria, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo F. and Mary Brungardt; her husband, Allen P. Dreiling; her brothers, John Brungardt; Cletus Brungardt; and her brother-in-law, Bob Dinges.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 2, 2024, at The Basilica of Saint Fidelis, 900 Cathedral Ave, Victoria, Kansas with Celebrant, Father James Moster O.F.M. Cap. The burial will be in St. Fidelis Cemetery, Victoria, Kansas.
A vigil service and a St. Fidelis Christian Mothers rosary will be at 6:30 P.M. Thursday, at the church. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, and from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. Friday all at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to The Cathedral of the Plains Charitable Fund, Inc.
