Vickye Gayle Phipps, 63, died Tuesday, January 16, 2024 at her home in Garden City. She was born July 8, 1960, in Tulia, Texas the daughter of Billy Wayne Young &amp; Emily Kirby. She married Jimmy Phipps in 1989 in Garden City.

Vickye was born and raised in Tulia and graduated High School in 1978, after graduation she moved to Garden City where she began working at Big L Rentals &amp; Sales for 25 years. She loved sewing and making blankets for everyone. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs and especially her family.

Survivors include her husband- Jimmy Phipps, 2 Children- Billy Phipps &amp; Jenifer Phipps, 2 siblings- Denise &amp; Russ Zielinski &amp; Alan &amp; Munika Young. Many Nieces &amp; Nephews. She is Preceded in death by her Parents and Her In-Laws.

A Celebration of life will be held at 4:00 P.M. Saturday January 20, 2024, at Jenifer’s house. There will be no visitation. Family suggests memorials be made to St. Catherine Hospice in care of Garnand Funeral Home. Condolences may be posted at www.garnandfuneralhomes.com&nbsp;&nbsp;
