March 17, 1951 - September 16, 2023

Bruce Duane Roe, passed away peacefully with his loving family and some of his favorite nurses by his side. Bruce was born March 17th, 1951 in Norton, KS to Robert D and Peggy Roe.

He grew up in Norcatur and graduated from Norcatur High School with the class of 1969.

Bruce liked to live life to the fullest, even testing his parents daily! He was a jack of all trades and there was very little he couldn't do. 

In 1983, Bruce married Jeana “Klepper” Hoppe. To this union, he gained two children, Erica Warnke and Marshall Hoppe. In 1984, Blake Robert was born. 

On September 29th, 2003, he married Tina “Taylor” Baker in Georgetown Colorado.  With this marriage, they both gained a child.

Bruce loved to go hunting and fishing with his family. Thanksgiving morning was a family tradition. Lake McConaughy holds a special place as well. He loved to spend every chance he had sitting around the table visiting with the kids and grandkids, playing cards, dominos or whatever the game might be.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Peggy, Brother Bradley Roe, brother-in-law John Morrissey.

Survivors include his devoted wife Tina of the home, children Travis Votaw, Robin Faber, Erica (Martin) Warnke of Goodland, Marshall (Teresa) Hoppe of Goodland, Blake (Michelle) Roe of Goodland, and Jennifer (Steven) Arntt of Goodland; five grandchildren, Dalton (Tresta) Arntt, Alexis Gatz, Wyatt and Cadie Arntt, Henry Roe; sisters Connie (Steve) Kasson of Claremore, OK, Brian (Monica) Roe of Hays, KS, Pam Morrissey of Elk City, OK, Cathy (Tom) Brannan of Norton, Brenda (Robert) Callaway of Ottawa, Jeff (Lori) Roe of Norcatur; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Memorial contributions may be designated to the Bruce Roe Memorial Fund and may be left at the services or mailed to Koons-Russell Funeral Home, 211 N. Main Ave., Goodland, KS 67735.
