Dana Kirk Randel, 72, died June 3, 2023, at his home in Emporia. He was born May 19, 1951, in Hoisington, Kansas, the son of Ira Frank and Donna Marie (Jessen) Randel.
On May 27, 1972, he married Lana Beth Scheuerman in Baldwin, Kansas.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Lana Randel; sons Jens Randel, and Joren Randel and wife Kristy; grandchildren; and a sister, Kris Randel-Waldren.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday, with family to greet friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 9, 2023, at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home Chapel, with Dr. Galen Boehme presiding. Burial will follow in Lone Star Cemetery, rural Bison, Kansas.
