Lea Ann Pakkebier, age 51, of Shawnee, Kansas passed away on August 26, 2023. She was born December 17, 1971 in Norton, KS, the daughter of Marvin and Nelda Pakkebier.

A longtime resident of Pawnee and Rush counties, she was a radiology technician. 

She graduated from Holcomb High School and then Fort Hays State University and was a member of the Tri Sigma Sorority.

She was a Girl Scout leader, and enjoyed baking and art, and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed attending her daughter’s sporting events, recitals, horse shows, and other activities.

She is survived by her daughter Allie Pakkebier (Anthony Ventura) of Overland Park, KS and her sister Pam Welsh (Ty) of Shawnee KS and six nieces and nephews Tyson, Trenton, Carly, Tanner, Ben, and Rylie.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service is planned for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 23 at the Harrington Family Event Center, next door to the funeral home with fellowship to follow after the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Faith Hospice in care of the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home, 214 Oak St. Bonner Springs, KS 66012.&nbsp;&nbsp;
