Donald Dean Dreiling, 69, passed away June 7, 2023, at his home in Aurora, CO. He was born January 21, 1954, at Hays, to Peter J. Dreiling and LaVina M. Dreiling (Urban).
He married Rose Marie Rohr on May 24, 1974 in Hays, KS.
Don and Rose lived in Hays until 1994, when Don had a job opportunity in Denver, CO. Don managed Air Products, which is a gas and welding provider in Denver.
Don loved cooking and eating and and enjoyed traveling, especially to see friends. He liked to golf, and eating at new restaurants. He was not against trying something new.
Survivors include his wife Rose who is a financial planner and their son Dustin Dreiling, two grandsons, Dylan D. Dreiling and Austin J. Dreiling, and his sister JoAnn Sandoval of Hays.
He was preceded in death by his parents Peter J. and LaVina M. Dreiling, (Urban), and two brothers, Joseph Dreiling and Ronald L. Dreiling.
Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m on Friday, June 16 at St. Joseph Church. There will be a rosary and a service by Fr. Richard Daise at 7:00 p.m. A Mass will be said on Saturday, June 17 at 10:00 a.m., also at St. Joseph Church with Father Richard Daise. Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m., shortly after the mass at St. Joseph Cemetery.
