Rose M. Rein, 76, passed away on April 26, 2022, at University of Kansas Health System - Great Bend Campus, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born on August 30, 1945, at Park City, Kansas, to Edward & Betty Uncapher. Rose married Robert Rein Sr. on September 21, 1962, at McCracken, Kansas.
Coming from McCracken, Rose was a Great Bend resident for over 50 years. She worked for Kirby Co. of Great Bend as a bookkeeper, along with being a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Rein of the home; three sons, Robby Rein and Randy (Haley) Rein, both of Great Bend, and Russell (Sherry) Rein of Olathe; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister Becky Hill of Wichita. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Don and Danny Uncapher.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 5, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home. Inurnment will take place at McCracken Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials have been designated to the Rose Rein Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
