Sharon Kay Munday, 79, of Greeley, CO, passed away February 4, 2024 at her home in Greeley following a prolonged neurological disorder. She was born on August 21, 1944 in Stafford, KS to John Jacob and Ethelene A. (Rowland) Christy and was one of five children.
She graduated from Hays High School in Hays, KS in 1962. She also graduated from Cosmetology School in 1963. Sharon met her husband, Alan Loy Munday, while in High School and they were married June 15, 1964. They had two daughters together.
The family moved to Ft. Morgan, CO in August of 1973 where Sharon worked as a teacher’s aide and later as a bookkeeper for her husband’s business.
Sharon and Alan moved to Greeley, CO in 1995. She retired from Banner Health in 2006. She enjoyed spending time in her garden, spending time with her grand dogs, and watching the Denver Nuggets and Bronco’s play. She also enjoyed spending time with her nephew, Tyler Christy (Milliken, CO) and her nieces, Dawn (James) Turner (Milliken, CO) and Danette Christy (Milliken, CO).
Sharon is survived by her husband, Alan; children, Crystal Munday (Elizabeth, CO), Julie (Dwight) Mallory (Windsor, CO), and six grand dogs.
