Peggy C. Hunter, age 79, passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Via Christi St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on May 25, 1944, in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of Russell and Nettie Jane Cole Griffin.
A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2016 moving from Dodge City, Kansas, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her eight children - Paula Jensen of Dodge City, Kansas, Toni Patton of Dodge City, Kansas, Lori Goodwin of Jetmore, Kansas, Jimmie Holt of Dodge City, Kansas, Deana and Jatinder Dua of Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, Robbie and Jason Hundertmark of Scott City, Kansas, Bucky and Lauren Ashcraft of Garden City, Kansas, Staci Ashcraft and Scott Dressler of Dodge City, Kansas, daughter-in-law- Patty Holt of Dodge City, Kansas, 29 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Steven Holt, son-in-law- Glenn Jensen, and granddaughters- Jinnie Holt and Sariah Dua.
Memorial visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2023, at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
