Dannie Dwight Gordon, Jr., 54, died Monday, February 26, 2024, at Kearny County Hospital in Lakin, Kansas. He was born August 2, 1969, in Garden City, Kansas, the son of Dannie Dwight &amp; Gloria (Allen) Gordon, Sr.Dannie grew up in Garden City where he attended Garden City schools. He later moved to Wichita Fall, Texas before moving back to Garden City. He then moved to Lakin in 2014 where he has lived since. Dannie enjoyed spending his time fishing and listening to music. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to spend time with his family.

Survivors include his mother Gloria Rhodig of Garden City; a nephew Javier Gordon of Garden City; a niece Victoria &amp; wife Stephani Ortiz-Pelkey of Hutchinson, Kansas; and his great nieces and nephews Xzyrain Ortiz-Pelkey, Javier Gordon, Jr., Jadalynn Gordon, &amp; Jaxtyn Gordon. Dannie is preceded in death by his wife Teresa; his father; a brother Dennis Gordon; and a sister Gia Ortiz.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. There will be no calling hours.
