On March 13th, 2024 Norma Jean Boland went to be with the Lord and was finally reunited with her one true love, JD. Jeanie was born December 6, 1938 to Murray and Doris Holloway of Alton, KS. On February 2, 1958 she married JD Boland and to that union welcomed four children Tammy, Sherri, Kim, and Kip. The kids were their life and JD and Jeanie both enjoyed sharing their love for the lake, hunting, and fishing with the kids.
Jeanie was a "jack of all trades". From owning Jean's Flower Boutique and the Jean Junction in the 80's to wood working, flower arranging, and of course cake baking which is what made her famous among the Osborne community. Jeanie was up for anything and even obtained her CDL to drive truck for Kip during harvest.
Nothing made Jeanie happier then having her family around. Christmas was one of her favorite holiday's and was always celebrated at her home with plenty of food, laughter, and presents.
Jeanie is survived by her four children Tammy (Steve), Sherri, Kim, and Kip. Her brother Bob Holloway and grandchildren Hannah (Gabe), Katlyn (Jon), Chloe (Austin), Olivia, and Madison, and 13 Great Grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents (Murray and Doris), husband (JD) and grandchildren (Christy, Jesse, and Tegan).
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
