Jhayliegh Aiyana Rosales, 16, passed away Wednesday June 5, 2024 at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. She was born February 19, 2008 in Lakin, Kansas; the daughter of Daniel Rosales and Alyssa (Becker) Lopez.
Jhayliegh is a fun loving and joyous girl. She is the princess of her family and is the best big sister. She has always enjoyed spending time with her siblings who hold a special place in her heart, as well as her family, friends and her dog Bucky.
Jhayliegh is a warrior that never gives up even during her toughest fight. She is the true definition of strength. She has carried us throughout her journey and has been our strength every step of the way.
Jhayliegh has a love for life. She loves many things such as her big family get togethers with lots of laughs, shopping, always having her nails done, swimming, rollercoaster rides, and she also loves making bracelets and hosting lemonade and cookie stands. Jhayliegh has always had a love for fast cars, Justin Bieber, and her favorite superhero Bucky Barnes the Winter Soldier. Her favorite color is purple and she loves butterflies. Words cannot describe the beautiful person Jhayliegh is. She is the example of who we should all strive to be. Her heart is kind, loving, selfless, thoughtful, compassionate, and generous. She is always thinking of others and is one of the purest hearts to walk this earth.
Jhayliegh is survived by her parents- Alyssa & Pony Lopez and Daniel & Tanea Rosales, her siblings- Naliyah, Aziyah, Hazel, and Titus along with a host of grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family and close friends.
Private services will be held for the family. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Jhayliegh Rosales Memorial Fund in care of Garnand Funeral Home.
