Jo Jordan, 84, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2022, at River Bend Assisted Living in Great Bend. She was born on Oct. 7, 1937, at Great Bend to Wesley and Evelyn Miller. She married Clifford R. Jordan on Aug. 30, 1959, at Great Bend.
A lifetime Great Bend resident, Jo was a sales rep for Avon for many years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and then First Christian Church. Jo worked as a church visitor, sharing her smile with the homebound and elderly. She also enjoyed caring for children in her later years. Jo was a true friend to all she met and was a dedicated follower of the Lord.
Survivors include two sons, Scott Jordan and wife Heather of Englewood, Colo., and Michael Jordan and wife Kathy of Hutchinson; and three grandchildren, Caroline Jordan, Grant Jordan and Jordyn Pratt. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Clifford Jordan.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, May 16 at Bryant Funeral Home, with family to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 17 at First Christian Church with Reverend Josh Leu presiding.
The interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery.
