Elmen Dale “Bud” Wright – dedicated husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and friend – passed away at Logan County Hospital on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024.
Bud was born to Ole and Goldie Wright in Oakley, KS. He graduated from Oakley High School. Bud was known to be a “jack-of-all-trades” and did many things throughout his life. It was common for people to call on him to fix, repair, or install various things.
Bud had been active in the local Lodge and in his church. He enjoyed spending time with family members and talking to many friends. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, as well as four children, seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, numerous extended family members, and a wealth of friends.
