Margaret Thibault
October 21, 1922 - September 18, 2023
Margaret Gisler Thibault was born in Brawley, California on October 21, 1922. She had a twin brother, Joe, and brothers Frank and Walt and an older sister Annie. Her parents emigrated from Switzerland at the turn of the century.
Margaret graduated from Chino High School in 1941. She married Levi Thibault in 1942.
Margaret was a true pioneer woman and when Levi decided to move back to Kansas, she gave up her family and friends to move to a small farm without indoor plumbing. Margaret moved with two little girls, pregnant with her third child and became a farmer’s wife. She learned to plant a large garden, dress chickens, cook for a family of seven, make clothes, repair anything and be active in her church and the lives of her five children !
Margaret is survived by her children, Betty Beatty, Barbara Robinson, Dave and his wife Susan, Tim and his wife Cindy. Her son, Larry, predeceased her in October of 2022. She has ten grandchildren, 16 great children and one great great granddaughter. She was loved and cherished by her family!
