Leatrice Napue

Leatrice Napue, 94, Hill City, Kansas, formerly of Lincoln, Nebraska, entered his eternal rest March 3, 2023. He was born in Nicodemus, Kansas, April 29, 1928, to Halbert Herman and Verna Ophelia (Williams) Napue. On August 18, 1950, Leatrice entered into holy matrimony with Delores Nevins. To this union three children were born: Roger, Rodney, and Pamela. Leatrice was a United States Army veteran. He spent his career working for the Lincoln Public Schools District in Lincoln, Nebraska. 

Leatrice was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, William Napue; four sisters, Vernita Cruder, Bernadine Terry, Yvonne Sayers, and Halberta Jones. Left to cherish his memory are his former wife Delores Napue of Hill City; two sons, Roger Napue (Marilyn) of Kansas City, Missouri and Rodney Napue of Lincoln, Nebraska; one daughter, Pamela (Napue) Johnson of Raytown, Missouri; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Leatrice will be laid to rest in Nicodemus Cemetery in Nicodemus, Kansas.
