Earleen J. Frauen, 94, passed away December 9, 2023 at Hodgeman County Health Center, Jetmore.
She was born August 28, 1929 in Red Willow, Nebraska, the daughter of Warren Kirby and Frieda Amen Mackey.
Moving from Long Pine, Nebraska, she was a longtime Jetmore resident. She was a teacher for many years, a member of First United Methodist Church, Ainsworth, NE, enjoyed playing bridge, doing puzzles and word searches. She kept up with politics and was well informed.
On June 4, 1950 She married James Edward Frauen in Fairbury, NE. He passed away April 1, 2014.
Survivors include: son, John Frauen, Dodge City; a daughter Joy Fuqua, Ellensburg, WA; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, James; daughter, Jan Bradfield; and twin brother, Earl Mackey.
Memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2023 at Beckwith Funeral Home with Harmon Bliss presiding. Private family burial will be at a later date.
