Phillipsburg resident Jack Siglinger Jr. passed away Monday, July 11, 2022, in the Phillips County Retirement Center, Phillipsburg, at the age of 93.
He was born April 5, 1929, in Phillipsburg the son of John Paul and Ethel I. (Nay) Siglinger. He worked for the Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. in Phillipsburg for 47 years.
He was united in marriage to Mickey Jackson on October 7, 1950, in Great Bend, Kansas. She preceded him in death on December 5, 2016.
Jack was also preceded in death by his parents; a son Marlin Ray Siglinger; a brother Donald Wayne; a sister Menta Margaret Bickle; and granddaughter Stacy Siglinger.
Survivors include sons Stanley J. Siglinger and wife Bonita of WaKeeney and Paul Reid Siglinger of Phillipsburg; 5 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the First Christian Church, Phillipsburg, with Pastor LeRoy Herder officiating. The services will be streamed live on the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel Facebook page. Burial will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Phillipsburg.
Mr. Siglinger will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel with the family receiving friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday evening for visitation.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, Phillipsburg.
