Glenita Ardis Moore, 101, of Oakley, died on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Logan County Hospital. She was born on October 25, 1921, in Dougherty, IA, to William and Claudia (Bates) Jessup. 

Glenita married Donald M. Moore on November 3, 1940, in Nashua, IA. Glenita was a member of Rebekahs, Monument Mother’s Club, Garden Club and the American Legion Auxiliary. Those preceding her in death were her husband, Donald M. Moore; her son, Daniel Moore; her parents; and four sisters. Survivors include sons, David Moore, Oakley, Paul Moore (Cindy), San Diego, CA, Donald Moore Jr. (Sandy), Monument, and Stephen Moore (Loretta), Oakley; a daughter, Claudia Coulter (Bob), Wheatridge, CO; 17 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley. Glenita will be laid to rest in the Oakley City Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Logan County Healthcare Foundation and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, P.O. Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
