Mona J. Heitschmidt, age 67, passed away on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on March 8, 1956, in Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Leonard & Ruth Frank Steffens Jr. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she was a secretary for Brookover Cattle Company in Scott City, Kansas for almost 30 years.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors include her Two Daughters - Alesha Heitschmidt of Manhattan, Kansas, Chelsea Moses-Heitschmidt of Manhattan, Kansas, One Son - Josh Heitschmidt of Miller, Missouri, Two Sisters - Becky Bryant of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Sherry Hickey of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Johnny Steffens of Mulberry, Kansas, Six Grandchildren - Morgen Roberts of Scott City, Kansas, Raigen Wilson of Manhattan, Kansas, Carley Heitschmidt of Miller, Missouri, Lakyn Heitschmidt of Miller, Missouri, Nova Heitschmidt of Miller, Missouri, Kyilen Heitschmidt of Miller, Missouri, and numerous nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 8, 2024, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 6, 2024, and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
