Elvera Mock, age 97, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Via Christi Village in Wichita, Kansas. She&nbsp;was born November 28, 1925, in Liebenthal, Kansas, to Bernard and Mary (Depperschmidt) Herrman.

She married Daniel Rupp in 1946. They had one daughter. After the death of her first husband, she&nbsp;married Norman Mock in 1979.

Elvera had many passions in life including bowling, fishing, cooking, sewing, trying her luck at slot&nbsp;machines and spending time with family and friends. She touched the lives of everyone she met and will&nbsp;be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughter, Terry McConnaughy; grandchildren Daniel McConnaughy and wife&nbsp;Juanita Norton, LoriBeth McConnaughy and husband Jonathan; great-grandchildren Tristan and Taylor&nbsp;McConnaughy, and Dylan Oliver.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Daniel Rupp; second husband Norman Mock;&nbsp;two brothers Wilbert and Richard Herrman; three sisters Firmina Herrman, Alfrieda Dinges, and Mary&nbsp;Ann Randa; sisters-in-law Dolores Herrman and Gloria Herrman.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. There is no visitation.
