Gerri Lynn Roach, 44, passed away September 10, 2023, at her home in Great Bend. She was born September 25, 1978, to Mike & Linda (McLean) Copeland, in Hutchinson.
She married David Roach September 13, 1997, at Great Bend.
A longtime Great Bend resident, Gerri was a cattle rancher and secretary for WGC Trucking. She also had worked for Orscheln’s and Holy Family School in the past. She was a member of the Methodist faith. Gerri enjoyed cooking, gardening and camping, as well as tending to the cattle.
Her greatest love was spending time with her family. Gerri was known for “adding color to the dark,” always making the best out of the day.
Survivors include her husband, David Roach, two sons, Wyatt Roach and Garrett Roach, and a daughter, Caitlyn Roach all of the home; her parents, Mike and Linda Copeland of Sylvia; a sister, Melissa Copeland Roach and husband Shannon of Great Bend; and Dixie.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Rosary held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Father Don Bedore presiding. Interment will take place at the Roach Family Farm in Great Bend. Memorials have been designated to Golden Belt Humane Society or Heartland Cancer Center, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
