GARDEN CITY- Wes Loyd, 48, died on Sunday, December 10, 2023 in Garden City. He was born on September 7, 1975 at Arkansas City, Kansas the son of Philip &amp; Mary (Cox) Loyd.

Wes moved with his family to Garden City when he was 9 years old and attended Garden City schools. He was a lifelong truck driver in the oilfield industry and currently was driving for Tex-Ok-Kan Oilfield Services. He enjoyed hunting, camping, his Harley motorcycle and socializing with his friends. He was a member of NRA.

He is survived by his Mother- Mary Loyd of Garden City, Sister- Shannon K. Olson of Carlock, Illinois, Fiance- Regina Sanford of Garden City, her Sons- Jaydon Sanford of Garden City and Ethan Sanford of Wichita and Niece- Alexia Loyd. He is preceded in death by his Father and Nephew- Braxtyn Loyd.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at Turning Point Church of the Nazarene with Rev Nathan Haeck officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery in Garden City. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday at Garnand Funeral Home in Garden City. The service will be facebook live on the Garnand Funeral Home facebook page.
