Leslie Lynn Plummer, age 82, of Oakley, passed away on January 21, 2025, at Swedish American Hospital in Englewood, CO.

Lynn was born on September 10, 1942, to Leslie W. and Marguerite (Cope) Plummer in Oakley, KS. He attended Oakley High school. In high school, he took 3rd in 1958 and 2nd in 1960 at State Wrestling. After high school, he was drafted into the U.S. Army and was stationed at Fort Lewis, Tacoma, WA. After discharge in 1966 he returned to Oakley and began his career in automotive parts sales. In 1985, he became the owner of Ladenburger Supply from which he retired in 2007.

His favorite pastime was riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle which he rode many miles from the west to east coast and from Canada to Mexico. Other favorites included watching western tv shows, K-State football and the Raiders. Many interests over the years were jeeping, dirt track racing, trap shooting, gambling and collections of guns, coins, cowboy boots plus an extensive collection of music. He was one of the original members of the Oakley trap club and helped start the Oakley Kids Wrestling Club. At age 75, he learned to play the guitar. He was able to take the Kansas Honor Flight to Washington, DC in 2021. His recent enjoyment was following his grandkids in all their activities including football, wrestling, and go-karts.

Lynn was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jonny.

He is survived by his wife, Linda of 57 years; two sons, Todd (Karen) and Troy (Amber); grandchildren, Jailen, Landyn, Ace, Hannah and Alexis; two great grandchildren, Bentley and Staley; brother Tom (Marietta) and nephew, Travis; sister-in-law Christy Watson; and brother-in-law Miles (Linda) Ladenburger. Other special people in Lynn's life are Brett, Hayley, Cody, Bransen, Aubree and Macksen, along with other nieces, nephews and cousins.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at Baalmann Mortuary, Oakley on Friday January 31, 2025, from 1- 2:30 pm. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 pm at St Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Oakley. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Logan County Hospital Respiratory Dept. or Oakley Kids Wrestling Club and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box391, Colby, KS 67701.
