&nbsp;James M Helus, 63, of Colby, died Friday, March 1st, 2024, at Citizens Medical Center. He was born July 11, 1960, in Colby, KS, to William and Janice Helus. He graduated from Colby High School in 1979. On June 27, 1992, he married the love of his life, Glenda Hankins.

He was preceded in death by his Father William Helus

.He is survived by his wife, Glenda Helus, of Colby; children, Jessica (Wayne) Stoltenberg, of Oakley, KS, Jason (Tennele) Hankins, of Park City, KS and Jamie (Mike) Margheim, of Hutchinson, KS; sisters, Star Bixenman and Stacy Helus both of Colby, KS; brothers, Ron (Debbie) Helus, of Colby, KS and Rick (Connie) Helus, of Little Elm, TX; two grandchildren, Grace Hankins and Sara Hankins and many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and one great-great nephew.
