Susie Youngblood, 70, of Atwood, died Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at HaysMed in Hays, KS. She was born in Cumberland, MD, on October 24, 1952, to Gene and Geraldine (Swisher) Files.
Susie enjoyed gardening,
fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends. She was a
caregiver for many elderly people. On April 25, 1986, Susie married Joe
Youngblood in Atwood KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Susie is survived by her husband Joe; children, Gary (Trisha) Taylor and
Angela (Jay) Covert; siblings, Linda Files, Michelle Richie and Gene
Files and Sandy Files; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild;
McKayla, McKenzie, Kegan, Ian, Isabella, Karissa, Jackson, Mason and Colter.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorials may be
