Arthur Lee Katt passed away Friday, November 18, 2022, at the Sheridan
County Health Long Term Care, at the age of 92. Arthur was born on June
4, 1930, to Ernest and Regina (Keller) Katt, in Gove County, KS.
In 1952, Arthur was drafted into the Korean War. He was honorably discharged in 1954.
On August 29, 1956, Arthur married Pauline Zerr, at the St. Agnes
Church, in Grainfield, KS. They shared over 66 years of marriage.
Arthur was a lifelong farmer in Gove County. He was also a life-time member of the Grinnell VFW Post 2864.
He is survived by his wife, Pauline; children, Patricia Randall (Don),
of Gove, Phyllis Marcum (Terry), of Ellis, Allan Katt (Sue), of Hoxie,
Peggy Doxon (Phil), of Grinnell and Alfred Katt (Cindy), of Wakeeney;
eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; three great grandchildren
and one on the way; 21 step great grandchildren; brothers, Leroy Katt
(Delores) and Bernard Katt (Clementine), all of Grainfield.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Regina Katt;
brother Ernest Katt Jr; sisters, Virginia Wildeman and Mary Ann Katt and
brother-in-law Ralph Wildeman.
Private family services will take place. Memorials may be made to the
Sheridan County Health Long Term Care, in Hoxie, and sent in care of
Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
