Jane S. Kaufman, formerly of Downs, passed away July 10, 2022. She was born December 17, 1944, in Beloit, KS, the daughter of Lee and Irene (Stegman) Hefley.  She was a retired operator for Southwestern Bell.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eldon Kaufman and her parents.

Survivors include:  Donald (Victoria) Kaufman, Tulsa, OK;  Donna  Province, Chandler, OK; daughter-in-law Anita Kaufman, Carney, OK; brother, Ed (Linda) Hefley, Satellite Beach, FL: niece Tina; four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren .

Graveside service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 10:00 am at the Downs Cemetery, Downs,   KS  

Visitation will be Friday July 15 from 6-7 pm at Domoney Funeral Home.  Memorials may be given to the Downs High School Alumni Association in care of Domoney Funeral Home, PO Box 127, Downs, KS 67437.
