Donald Wayne Bixenman, 66, of Colby, died Friday, August 2, 2024. He was born on September 18, 1957, in Colby, to Leroy and Lucille (Leiker) Bixenman.
Don was a crane operator and welder and had worked at Western Well, Western Sprinklers, Peabody Floway, and Woofter Construction. He had a life-long love of motorcycles. In his younger years Don competed in motor cross racing and later stuck to riding his Harley, which he did all the work on himself. He was an avid football fan and especially loved watching the Steelers. On June 21, 2003, Don married Susie Knox, in Colby.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Paula Bixenman and Steve Bixenman.
He is survived by his wife Susie; siblings, Mike Bixenman, Dave (Lori) Bixenman and Joan Matthews; stepchildren, Michael Haire and Melissa Haire; many nieces and nephews and his two beloved dogs.
A memorial service will take place at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 12, 2024, at Baalmann Mortuary, Colby with inurnment in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Colby.
