Janel A. Moore, 70, Hays, died Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at HaysMed surrounded by family.

She was born April 20, 1952, in Hays, the daughter of Larry F. and Laurine F. (Werth) Werth.  She was a graduate of Marian High School in the class of 1970 and attended Fort Hays State University for two years, studying interior design.  On May 19, 1972, Janel was united in marriage to Orville G. She enjoyed oldies music, singing and dancing, attending concerts, and any opportunity to travel.  She loved her horses, mules, and being a farmer’s wife, especially during wheat harvest when there were family gatherings.  Janel was like a mom to many, family meant everything to her, and she was a loving and proud grandma.
