John Robert Atkins, 54, of Norton, Kansas passed away on May 23, 2023. John was born in Newton, Kansas to Ardis and James “Ray” Atkins on October 12, 1968.
He attended Inman High School and Kansas State University.
John worked for Prairie Land Electric Cooperative for 16 years and was currently serving as the Director of Member Services.
John is survived by his wife Stephanie (Shrader) Atkins; his children Alec Atkins, Drew Atkins, and Matthew Atkins; his parents Ardis and James “Ray” Atkins of Inman, Kansas; his sister June (Terry) Modlin of McPherson, Kansas; two nieces; two nephews; one great-niece; and one great-nephew.
Cremation has been chosen. A visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 pm Thursday, June 1, at the funeral home.
