Jeanie's devotion extended beyond her family's home. As a skilled secretary, she contributed her talents to Dr. Hutcher, Dr. Oborny, and the Farm Business Service Agency. She was a member of the Eagles Aerie #3774 and had a keen eye for bargains, often found while perusing thrift stores and garage sales. Among her pastimes, Jeanie enjoyed a good game of bingo.
Left to honor her memory are her daughters, Mary (Ronnie) Seltmann of Liberty, MO, Dorothy (Troy) Leiker of WaKeeney, KS; son, Jim (Anita) Hazuka of Hoisington, KS; and her grandchildren, Tyler Seltmann, Jessica (Ryan) Werth, Stephanie (James) Wright, Elizabeth (Michael) McCurdy, and Raymond James Nathan (Jennifer) Hazuka; 18 great-grandchildren; and brother, Raymond Zahn of WaKeeney, KS.
