Casey D. Richardson, 38, died Tuesday July 18, 2023 at his home in Lakin, Kansas. He was born February 9, 1985 in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the son of Kirk and Linda (Bosak) Richardson. Casey’s family relocated to Lakin when he was a young child and remained here.

Casey attended local schools and graduated from Lakin High School before going on to Fort Hays State University. He obtained his business degree at FHSU and moved to Denver, Colorado where he made his career as a loan officer. 

During the pandemic he relocated back home to Lakin. Casey was easy going and someone people were drawn too. He could talk to anyone.&nbsp;He enjoyed fishing, hiking and camping. He is survived by his parents Kirk and Linda Richardson of Lakin, Kansas; sister Keri (Nick) Hansen of Lakin, Kansas; brother Bo (Courtney) Richardson of Aurora, Colorado; five nieces and nephews, and his grandmother Stephanie Bosak of Cheyenne, Wyoming. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
