Marius Rossouw, 54, passed away on December 14, 2022, at Russell Regional Hospital, Russell, Kan. He was born on May 25, 1968, in Cape Town, South Africa, to Frederick and Hester (Kühn). On December 21, 2002, he married Cleo Jarvis in Cape Town, South Africa. She survives.
A resident of the area for the past fourteen years, Marius worked as a truck driver for Befort Trucking and previously did custom cutting. He was a hard worker and dedicated to working and raising his family.
Survivors include his wife of the home; five sons, Marnus (Justine) Van Meyeren of Cape Town, South Africa, and Charl (Dawn) Van Meyeren of Phoenix, Ariz.; Brandon Rossouw of Cape Town, South Africa, Clinton (Christie) Rossouw of Great Bend, and Ryan Rossouw of Great Bend; five grandchildren, Salem, Tegan, Eben, Chrismarie, and Karla; his parents of Cape Town, South Africa; a brother, Frederick (Tracey) Rossouw of Phillipsburg, Kan.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Josh Foster presiding.
Memorials have been designated to the Children’s Education Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
