Leo Francis Beckman, 89, passed away September 15, 2022, at his home. He was born April 15, 1933, in Norton, Kansas, to Joe and LaNeva (Weigant) Beckman.
Leo was married to Mary Lee (Mueting) on November 24, 1960. He was a US Army veteran and had worked as a Registered Radiologic Technologist for 34 years in Kansas and Nebraska hospitals and Mowery Clinic in Salina. Leo was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. Leo was also an honorary Fourth Degree Knight.
Survivors include his loving wife of 61 years, Mary Lee; three children, Denise (Kevin) Swiercinsky of Topeka, KS, Evan (Jeanne) Beckman of Las Cruces, NM, Lisa (John) Donart of Shawnee, KS; a sister, Rita Collette of Concordia, KS; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.
Leo was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and LaNeva Beckman; and brother, Robert Beckman.
A visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. with a Rosary beginning at 6 p.m. on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Ryan Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. with a Rosary at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 20th all at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Salina. Burial will follow at All Saints Catholic Cemetery, Salina with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Eternal Word Television Network, or Catholic Charities.
