Terri Lee Plowman, resident of Osborne Kansas, passed away on 19 January 2024 at the age of 64.
Terri was born in Casper, Wyoming on 1 December 1959 to Loury and Doris (Hackerott) Grieg. She with along with her brother, Steven Greig, were raised in Hobbs New Mexico and after graduating from Hobbs High School she went to Portales New Mexico to receive her associates degree in accounting at Eastern New Mexico University.
After graduating, Terri moved to Dallas, Texas where she had several employments such as department store associate, banking administrator and process server. She met her future husband, Martin, through mutual friends and was engaged later that year.
After getting married in an intimate surprise Thanksgiving wedding in Osborne, Terri and Martin relocated to England where they gave birth to their first child, Amberleigh. Two years later the family then moved to Cyprus where Stephanie and Andrew were born. The whole Plowman family relocated back to England for four years before moving to America. After the family lived in Austin, Texas for a year, the Plowman’s settled down in Osborne, Kansas.
Outside of her being a dedicated homemaker, Terri participating in various community activities as an Xi Zeta Omicron sorority member, Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, and various volunteering activities. Terri was also a local business owner of an ice cream and soda fountain parlour called the Maltease Fountain. Terri thoroughly enjoyed cheering her children on in various sporting events and supporting them in their extra-circular activities.
Terri was well known for her love for her grandchildren, her two dogs Jack and Bentley, animals, and travel. She will be sadly missed by her husband of 36 years Martin Plowman. Her children; Amberleigh (Plowman) Huckle, Stephanie Plowman and Andrew Plowman. Her Grandchildren; Cortez Plowman, Zaylie Plowman, Gordon Plowman, and Oscar Huckle. Her brother, Steven Grieg.
