Ronda Kay Scheuerman, 61, passed away January 28, 2024, surround by loved ones at her home in Great Bend, Kansas. She was born on May 25, 1962, in Kingman, Kansas, to Ray and Judith (Thorton) Pinkerton.
A resident of Great Bend for the past 8 years coming from Pawnee Rock, Ronda previously worked as a dietary aide for Cherry Village. She loved collecting antiques – particularly dream catchers, angels and wreaths, enjoyed watching movies, and above all, loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her mother, Judith Pinkerton of Great Bend; two sons, Joshua Castaneda of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Zachary Scheuerman and significant other Sydney Morrow of Larned; three daughters, Crystal Dart and husband Derrick of Kansas City, Missouri, Tiffany Castaneda and significant other, Antonio Espinoza of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Tia Castaneda and significant other Zachery Gaddis of Great Bend; ten grandchildren, Andrea, Jaydn Lewis and Draylon Dart, Braylyn Gardner, Bentley and Kasey McNett, Quinton Castaneda, Kolby Scheuerman, and Bentley and Rowan Morrow; brother, Randy Pinkerton of Deerfield, Washington; and sister, Robin Pinkerton of Great Bend.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ray Pinkerton.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2024, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Pastor Mark Williams presiding. Memorials have been designated to Ronda Scheuerman Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
