Norma Wolf, age 40, of Ulysses, Kansas, died Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born July 20, 1983, in Ulysses, Kansas, the daughter of John and Helen (Peters) Wolf.
Norma grew up in Ulysses and graduated from Ulysses High School. She earned an Associate Degree in accounting from Seward County Community College and was a semester away from earning a Bachelor’s Degree. She had been an accountant for L&L Floor Covering and for private individuals. As a young girl, Norma enjoyed going to theme and water parks, running, and golfing. She was baptized at the Mennonite Brethren Church. Norma loved spending time with her nieces and nephews, cooking, traveling, trying new foods, and riding her motorcycle. She also had an extensive stuffed monkey collection.
Norma is survived by her mother, Helen of Ulysses; brothers, Frank Wolf and wife, Erin, of Divide, Colorado, and Richard Wolf of Ulysses; nieces and nephews, Carlos, Ryder, Christan, Noah, Emily, and Sarah.
Norma is preceded in death by her father, John; sister, Anna Velasquez; and niece, Alicia Velasquez.
Memorial service will be Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the New Beginnings Church in Ulysses with Pastor Nathan Engelman officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Children’s Mercy Hospital or Camp Chimer in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880.
