Marjorie Diane Rodriquez, 66, passed away on November 21, 2023, surrounded by loved ones at her home in Great Bend, Kansas. She was born on August 6, 1957, in Wichita, Kansas, to Harold and Sue (Smith) Fortney.
In 2002, she married Dave Rodriquez in Rocky Ford, Colorado.
A resident of Great Bend, coming from Rose Hill, Kansas, Marjorie formerly worked in catering and as a secretary. She enjoyed crafts, specifically making door wreaths, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband of the home; three daughters, Jennifer (David) Borowski of Henderson, Nevada, Kristina (Jesse) Staab of Auburn, Kansas; and Diana (Marci) Devera of Fairfield, California; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild; four brothers-in-law, Mike, Fred, Paul and Gary Rodriquez; and numerous extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Deborah Fortney.
There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
