Anastasia “Daisy” Fellhoelter, 93, of Menlo, died Tuesday, February 6, 2024. She was born in Gove County, KS, on January 8, 1931, to Michael and Marianne (Kuntz) Heier. On September 22, 1953, she was united in marriage with Boniface Fellhoelter and to this union six children were born. Daisy was a member of the St. Ann Altar Society and St. Paul Catholic Church, in Angelus and was a lifetime member of the Grinnell VFW Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Boniface; son Leon; sisters, Julia, Agnes and Lorena and brothers, Pius, William and Linus.
She is survived by her children, Charles (Penny) Fellhoelter, Marilyn (Dreux) Schwaiger, Patricia (Leon) Heinen, Stephen (Laura) Fellhoelter and Linda (Kurt) Spachek; daughter-in-law LeeAnn Fellhoelter; sister Delores (LeRoy) Katt; sister-in-law Jean Heier; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 1-3:00 p.m., with a Vigil at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 11, 2024, at the Immaculate Conception Parish Center, Grinnell. Funeral Mass is at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 12, 2024, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Grinnell, with burial in St. Paul Cemetery, Angelus, KS. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church for renovations and sent in care of Baalmann Mortuary, PO Box 391, Colby, KS 67701.
