Ralph Rito Amador, 95, passed away August 13, 2024, at Diversicare of Larned, Kansas. He was born on May 22, 1929, in Ellinwood, Kansas, to Santos and Maria (Sanchez) Amador.
A long-time area resident, Ralph proudly serviced his country in the United States Army. He had multiple careers, from truck drive, to working as a mechanic, a security guard, and even assisting as a day care provider. Ralph was a member of Jehovah’s Witness Kingdom Hall in Great Bend. He was an avid pen collector, and loved spending time with his family, particular grandchildren.
Survivors include six sons, Andrew Amador and wife Kayleen of Aloha, Oregon, John Amador, Robert Amador and wife Joann, Muriel Amador, and Paul Amador, all of Great Bend, and Mike Amador and wife Elizabeth of Vancouver, Washington; two daughters, Stella Ochs and husband Michael of Great Bend, and Amber Robertson and husband Jason of Oregon; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-three great grandchildren; and numerous great great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Delories Amador; second wife, Linda Amador; third wife, Jeannette Amador; brothers, Johnny and Raymond Amador; and sisters, Margaret Falcon and Mary Lou Hernandez.
